About
Hi there! My name is Dan.
I’m a data engineer for DataSF, where I help build data infrastructure for the City of San Francisco. I previously did a stint in healthcare data journalism at Turquoise Health. Before moving to SF, I was the Director of Data Science at the Cook County Assessor’s Office, where I helped estimate the home values used to determine property taxes.
In my free time, I like to read, rock climb, bike, and hang out with my cat Mimi.
